A limited edition, two colour silk screen print/poster combining words and images all about the joys of walking. Black and a kind of bricky-red-orange acrylic on Gerstaecker 200gsm watercolour paper. These are from a first edition of 22, and each print measures 32.5cm x 42cm.
The print came about whilst reading Stephen Graham's The Gentle Art of Tramping, which is excellent, and thinking about my dad - whose main thing is tramping around Sussex and beyond. He told me he'd been having eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner since picking some up on one of his wanderings. His mum used to make him fried egg sandwiches: no-one else can make them so good.
